In-Home Supports

In-Home Supports are supports that are provided by a Direct Support Professional to a person that lives in their natural home for up to 8 hours per day 7 days per week.

The purpose of this service is to keep people at home with their family by providing the necessary level of care in the natural home; allowing the family to work outside the home and do other activities that they would not be able to do without assistance. The service can be utilized by family to assist with taking people to medical appointments, community events and activities or to assist the person receiving services to enhance their daily living skills.

Teresa uses RCM of Washington’s in-home supports to help build her communication and advocacy skills. She works hard to improve her American Sign Language communication skills every day.
