Supported Services

Supported Living arrangements are apartments / single family homes for up to three (3) related or unrelated persons with developmental / intellectual disabilities. Each person is supported through the 1915 DDA Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver (HCBS).

There are a multitude of wrap-around services that are offered through the HCBS and are authorized by DDS. Such services include, but are not limited to, Nutrition, Family Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

This is a good option for people who seeking to live more independently and with a limited number of housemates.

For a complete list of services offered through the HCBS can be found on the www.dds.dc.gov website.
